Newsletter #34 – May 2025

Welcome to the Evolve Workplace Wellbeing newsletter – May 2025

Happy third anniversary to Evolve!

Call for evidence – Creating Healthy Jobs
We are reviewing frameworks that outline the features of jobs that promote health and/or prevent ill-health. These can include frameworks for decent work/fair work. This review is part of the ‘Creating Healthy Jobs’ project funded by the National Institute of Health Research. If you know of any such frameworks advocated by central or local government departments in the UK or internationally, charities, transnational NGOs or professional institutes, could you let us know by 15th May please? Email kevin.daniels@uea.ac.uk with the name of the framework and any link to supporting documents or websites.

Our purpose is to develop a common understanding across these diverse frameworks of what constitutes healthy jobs and can be communicated to the general public.

The review team is: Dr Eli Dutton, Dr Sangwoo Lee, Dr Katharina Sarter (all Institute of Employment Research, University of Warwick) and Professor Kevin Daniels (Norwich Business School, University of East Anglia).
